Rickenbacker 360/12BWB B-Series 12 String

Here we have a 1983 (January) RICKENBACKER 360/12BWB B-Series:

The “B-Series” is the first time Rickenbacker re-created the iconic style of the mid sixties

vintage style guitars.

It features the famous Rickenbacker Fireglo color. The WB stands for “with binding” front and back. This gem, the owner has cherished for over 40 years.

This early 1980s era instrument has a deeper neck set for better tuning stability and overall strength. Being the best of both worlds, it has strength and weight of the 1970s models but also featured the vintage look of the mid 1960s icons. Plus, the pickups had a higher gain than the meticulously accurate models from the later 1980s. The owner took it upon himself to purchase the solid black knobs to make it look even more authentic. It came with the silver faced knobs which are included in this package.

A very sturdy  guitar featuring a full 24 frets. You’ll see this feature on Rickenbacker Light Show models. The strong finish is beautiful. Sporting the Rickenbacker fireglo finish, it  leans more to the orange-reddish side. It features the Ric-o-Sound jack and nickel Kluson tuners.

An authentic 12-string saddle bridge was purchased from Rickenbacker for even more precise intonation, and is on the guitar presently. BUT, the original six string saddle is included in this package. It comes with the original hard case.

Serial number indicates manufacturing date is January 1983.
