YAMAHA TAG1 C/TAS1 C REVIEWER GUIDE
WHAT IS IT?
The Yamaha TAG1 C and TAS1 C are new additions to the 2nd generation of TransAcoustic guitars. The entire
creative process of listening, playing, and creating is brought together in a single guitar, where inspiration meets
innovation. TAG1 C/TAS1 C help push your creative boundaries by providing reverb, delay, chorus and even
Bluetooth capabilities right at your fingertips.
WHO IS IT FOR?
The TAG1 C/TAS1 C are designed for creative acoustic players embracing modern technology. Whether writing,
rehearsing, performing, or recording, these guitars offer a perfect blend of simplicity and power.
PRIMARY FEATURES
Built-in Effects
Two actuators installed on the inner surface of the guitar resonate in response to the vibrations of the strings. The
vibrations generated by the actuators are then transmitted to the body of the guitar and to the air in and around it,
re
TAG1 C/TAS1 C feature a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery with magnetic charging connection, giving you up
to 5.5 hours of play time.
Simple Controls
Four simple buttons control effect levels and Bluetooth audio. The small buttons occupy minimal space, reducing
the acoustic sound loss that results from removing body wood. The line-out volume can also be adjusted using a
dial located in the soundhole.
Mobile Editor
The iOS/Android compatible "TAG Remote" app is a dedicated editor for TransAcoustic guitar players. Various
settings such as effect parameter adjustments can be controlled on your smart device.
Body Construction
TAG1 C/TAS1 C ensure authentic sound quality even without using any effect. A solid Sitka spruce top offers a rich
midrange and low-frequency response. Mahogany Back and Sides have a slower transient response than many
other tonewoods, contributing to a warm and woody tone with strong midrange.
